Researching into different awareness campaigns has shown us that they also give advice on one topic whereas we want to put across advice to any age range on ways to cope with difficult problems that may occur within life. Here are two campaigns that we have looked into one to do with anorexia and smoking. As you can see from these images show exactly what their campaign is about and the message that it shows to their target audience.
After our meeting with our supervisor David, he suggested that we do our project together based on coping with our two situations. We then started creating our campaign by starting off with doing blogs, creating posters and surveys. Our initial aim is to create a campaign to help others cope in difficult situations and to research how others cope.
In my second draft of my proposal I final decided on a title for my project 'Living with OCD' and instead of making a documentary I thought about making a diary. Within this diary I will put images of what I do in my everyday life which make me get on with my day without me feeling anxious. There I have thought more about how i will fine my research and what my final outcome will be.
This poster is creating awareness by displaying their company have a Cervical Cancer Prevention week, which I think is a great idea to make people more aware of this disease and what we can do to stop it.
For this particular poster I like the fact they added a clock to the image showing how littletime it takes to have a smear, therefore why can't we offer it to girls under the age of 25.
Here are some of my poster inspirations, a lot of the colouring in this particular posters are pink, this automatically shows the audience that the posters are aged at woman as it is a very feminine colour.
This poster also lets people know that the month of January is Cervical Cancer awareness month, they have also added the badge in the words 'love, hope and faith' which people will automatically know the poster is something to do with cancer.
This poster created by Transport for London is part of their awareness campaign of road safety. This poster along with others that they have produced participle stand out and make you think about your actions either being the driver or just the someone crossing the road. The words that stand out I think are 'STOP' 'THINK' 'LIVE' as if we don't do this then we will end up like the boy on the floor who has been hit by a van and now his life is over.
